What is Save A Warrior UK?
Save A Warrior UK (SAWUK) is a Community Interest Company that provides life-changing support for people recovering from trauma.
We:
Deliver a 72-hour transformational experience followed by a suggested 500-day course of healing
Create a long-term community of support
Empower veterans and first responders to take responsibility for their lives and flourish
Inspire long-term resilience, purpose, and encouragement to come back in service of others
What is the "Buy SAWUK a Coffee" Campaign?
This campaign invites you to donate just £3 a month. Less than the cost of a coffee.
Your monthly donation helps us:
Deliver essential supplies and materials for our programmes
Deliver our programme to reach 10 men at a time
Cover everyday costs to keep SAWUK running
Provides stability and an alternative to applying for countless unsuccessful grant applications
Why Your Support Matters
We receive no government funding. SAWUK is sustained by people like you who believe in our mission. A small monthly donation can profoundly impact someone rebuilding their life.
We believe that asking a lot of people to part with £3 is a more secure way to stabilise the future of SAWUK. Yes, receiving a large grant is wonderful; however, when that grant is spent and gone, what is next?
This campaign is about securing strong foundations for our future and enabling us to plan in terms of years, and not months or weeks.

What the Campaign has achieved so far
There’s no denying the impact that £3 a month can have on our stability and ability to serve more faster. I believe we can make a great impat on our community without having a detrimental affect on any one person. £3 is such a manageable number, and if we lose one or two over the course of a few months, that’s OK. It won’t be as devastating as loosing a large corporate donor or grant application. We are definitely choosing the long game! But choosing to do it this way means we will have built a large supportive community as well.
