APPLICATION

We are here for you.

We are accepting application forms for 2024 Cohorts. From the offset, we will be opening our doors to the following communities:

  • UK Armed Forces - Regular and Reserve (Serving and Veteran)

  • Police (Serving and Retired)

  • Fire Service (Serving and Retired)

You must be 18+ to attend the program and have been sworn in and served at least one day in the above community spaces. We recognise that veterans from the armed forces leave to pursue careers in other walks of life, including uniformed services such as medical, police and fire service, which is why we are inclusive and supportive of these uniformed services. Each cohort will have a mix of these communities and none will be favoured higher than the other.

Save A Warrior UK will serve:

  • Iraq, Afghan, Northern Ireland and Falklands War veterans suffering from PTSD

  • Those who have experienced abuse, bullying, childhood and adult sexual trauma

  • Those who have had traumatic childhoods due to alcoholic parents/carers

  • WWII and Gulf War veterans

  • Individuals with no clear “traumatic event” but suffering due to moral injury.

Please note that we are an alcohol and drug-free program. We strongly encourage you to begin your sobriety and recovery from addiction immediately. Experience shows us that sobriety is essential for you to heal from PTSD. If you would like to start his journey NOW, the following external organisations are available to you.

Your commitment to your healing.

Our experience indicates that healing from post-traumatic stress is only possible when you commit to "the work". This involves engaging in daily meditation practice, fostering a desire for emotional sobriety, and living a life devoted to serving others. Scientific research has confirmed that meditation can heal your brain, whereas alcohol and drug abuse hinder this healing process. Currently, we receive more applications from warriors than we can accommodate. If you're eager to reclaim your life and participate in this programme, start taking steps today towards sobriety. As fellow warriors who have grappled with and overcome these challenges, we share this based on our collective experiences.

BEFORE APPLYING, PLEASE READ ALL OF THE INFORMATION BELOW

  • Do not submit an application on behalf of someone else, especially without their consent.

  • The warrior must apply independently.

  • Success depends on the warrior's commitment to change.

  • The warrior must commit to sobriety prior to attending.
